American Welding Academy, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization committed to providing hands-on, employment-focused welding courses. Our programs ensure participants gain the qualifications needed to start a successful welding career.

Our mission is to expertly train and prepare individuals for economically rewarding careers as welding professionals.

WHAT WE DO

Our comprehensive skill development programs ensure participants are fully equipped to take the American Welding Society exams and earn welding certifications in several welding specializations. Our program is unique in the following ways.

Our courses are 90% hands-on.
Practical training begins on day one.
We provide course instruction, testing, and issue welding certifications at our facility.
We provide both structural and pipe welding instruction.
Our students are supported with support services to facilitate job preparedness and employment.

Meet Our Founder

Mr. Williams, the Founder and CEO of American Welding Academy, started the American Welding Academy to address the financial barriers that prevent at-risk youth from accessing quality welding education. With extensive experience as a welding instructor and certified welding inspector, Mr. Williams is dedicated to leading this non-profit organization.

As a non-profit, American Welding Academy relies on grants and donations. Training a single welder costs approximately $10,000, and your support helps us make this life-changing opportunity accessible.
